Title: modeling issues with the 163
Post by: Wildcat1 on November 14, 2010, 05:21:34 PM
messing around offline and i noticed that the little prop on the front of the 163 only starts spinning when you turn on the engine, and stops spinning when the engine shuts down, leading one to think that this prop is powered by the engine.

in real life, this was little more than a generator used to produce electric power for the aircraft, thus it spun freely. i think this issue should be fixed in game

Airflow.... As the 163 moves through the air, the propeller spins which in turn spins a " generator used to produce electric power for the aircraft"   :D

I want to know what the RPM gauge is supposed to represent as it never changes and nothing is RPMing.
