There are numerous types of ammo for the German 20mm cannon. Wikipedia, yes I know wikipedia, says:
The 2 cm M-Geschoß shell (used in M151/20 and MG-FF/M cannons - the same shell was used in both cartridges) had a 18g HE filling while the typical filler load in 20mm shells at the time was 6 to 10g.
Are we using this round, or another type?

All the rounds in game are an 'averaged' round. They don't hold the characteristics of any single round, rather a mash up of the rounds which would usually be used in concert.

That does seem a bit odd. I guess in the case of the. 50 where there are numerous loads that seems ok. In the case of a specific round developed and used exclusively it may not make sense.

"Wikipedia, yes I know wikipedia,"
Yes, Wikipedia. So what?

Hey Charge, thanks, good read. Still no vote from a HTC guys confirming what the real load out is though. Is it the combination as illustrated, 2 of this, 2 of this, 1 of this, or as stated by motherland are all rounds an average of the effects of each other?
The wiki thing, yeah... Wikipedia on here gets some of the seven star cool guys all worked up. They some times have nothing better to do then bash a source because the have tons of books in the attic, hence my preface.

Glad you found the thread informative. Been here quite a while so it gets tough to remember all the good discussions. That was one of those, however, which lead to no actions from HTC.
I find the modelling of different ammo, or lack of, to be one of the deficiencies of this game.
