Yep, got the e-mail the other day from the pre-order saying it would be out on the 24th. Let's just hope they keep their word this time.

The nascar edition to it is going to be alot of fun i have every GT made all the way back to PS1, just wish the PS1 @ 2 would play on my PS3

That's one of the big ones for me but the entire game is going to be great from the trailers and news. We'll find out next week hopefully.

You don't need Grand Turismo for that. It's been available for GTR2 since 2008. :)
I used to be a big fan of the GT series. Right now NetKar Pro is my racing sim of choice.

GT5 is for the mass, total eye candy, over 1000 cars and tons of tracks, only Sony have such
a budget, spending $ the last 5 years for more then 200 people LOL to get GT5
Multiplayer for everyone, not just racing freaks (ie. rFactor or iRacing nuts (like me))
Even i plan to buy a ps3 + gt5 just for that fun ;)

Have had the CE on pre order since June and been hawk eyeing www.gtplanet.com (http://www.gtplanet.com) since for any updates. a guy over there that worked with the game in some way got a copy yesterday and has been giving reviews as he goes along. been playing since day one for the original GT and is the only reason i bought a PS3.

so anyone got the hands on GT5? is it worth the $$? ;) i still plan to get the ps3 GT5 bundle.
-
I think they're too busy playing it to reply. I nearly bought one last night. But it's expensive here the equivalent of about $70 and I'm broke. I spent that much buying a tyre for my wife's car after an incident with a curb. :cry
I remember when the first one came out for PS1 and being amazed at the graphics. That was a long time ago now.

I would but I want to find the money first to get the steering wheel setup.
What its like to be a poor college student. :)

This GT5 is refreshing in an environment where most blockbuster releases put more emphasis on killing and shooting.

Then your in luck, the new Driver is due soon.....

Split Second is a fun arcade style "blow-em up" racer title. I have been having quite a bit of fun with it. No realism to speak of, but alot of fun!
