Title: Waiting for Action
Post by: ImADot on November 20, 2010, 09:28:00 PM
So, I was in the AvA kinda early the other night...

Cap just finished parking his Allied ride in my Axis hangar as I logged in.  Base was flashing and I heard him shut down just as I got to the tower.

He had to leave for a while, so it was just me.  So, I thought I'd return the favor and make an Allied base flash from the ground.  Only had to wait 10 minutes or so...and was airborne at 7k in seconds well inside their 'dar ring.   :devil

I went in yesterday afternoon, was solo, started de yakin' a field, and within about 20 minutes there were six of us in the arena.

I do like Dot's technique of landing, having a relaxing picnic, and waiting for them to come along.    :aok

I've considered deacking and bailing over a field but there's no option for tossing beer cans at the planes

that looks more pleasurable than waiting in a smelly, cramped hangar. it smelled like someone pooped in the corner.  :bolt:

Fashion a sling shot out of some tree branches.   Should work like a dandy with beer cans!   :D
