Now, ever since then my sound is completely disabled anmd have tried everything from updatung drivers to restarts over and over again. Now, ATI (SOmethin I got with  VC) shows and Audio Driver.  just dont know what the heck to do when it comes to thos. Do I delete all the sound drivers and install a new one, do I juts have conflicting drivers, etc. Please help  because ver since this Norton crap my comp is sucking bad.

Number 1 lose norton, its a virus itself in many respects.

I'd start by uninstalling or removing both video and sound drivers. Reboot
Then reinstall both and hope.

You might end up needing to use something like driver cleaner to get everything sorted.
And you also might end up removing Norton if it truly is the cause of all this.

Start troubleshooting by working in reverse.  What's the last thing you did before your sound stopped working?  If it was installing Norton, uninstall it and see what happens.

Are you using the sound from the 4350, or from the onboard chipset (or add-in sound card)?  I'd disable the hardware that you're not using.  For example, on my PC, I disable the sound on my 5850 because I use an add-in card.

Lastly, make sure you didn't accidently unplug the 1/8" sound plug from the PC.  Sounds trivial, but stuff like that has happened to all of us.
