hey all
i have been doing alot of reading in alot of threads in the multiple support and help forums and have reached a conclusion.
as it refers to multiple forums i am putting this thread here.
i really wish that when someone posts a thread in search of help with an issue and then after others have responded to them and tried to aid them in searching out the repair or correction for their issue that they, the O.P., would post within their thread what the cure turned out to be.
the biggest point to these help threads is not so much that it helps the person looking for the aid to begin with, but that this aid that they received may also aid the next 5 10 20 people who in the future experience the same or similar issues. if the cure is posted within a thread already on the boards then these future people may either find it on their own without having to ask for help and/or someone in the forums may be able to send them the link to the thread(s) where they may find their answers.
when you receive the help of the masses, in the form of information, the best way to say thank you is to pass it on to others who may need it. the best way to accomplish this, in my eyes, is to take the few moments to return to your thread and post that you have not only cured your problem but the manor in which you did it.

+1 great idea and would be very helpful also to those trying to help, since diagnosing by remote control can be difficult and the feedback is vital. Many similar problems must be encountered by lots of different players.
