The game they played today was a great one...Auburn pulled it out in the end and won 28-27 AFTER they were down 24 points before they put anything on the board against Bama.

great now my beloved frogs will drop to what #10?
sounds like a good game anyway

I hope this bumps Michigan State ahead of OSU so we can go to the rose bowl or somthin BCS related. But were gonna have to go to the Capital One bolw I guess.
That was a good game thoe, I thought Bama was gonna win that!

this just means that South Carolina will ruin another team's championship hopes :t
on a side note i dont think cam newton is worthy of a hiesman due to his attitude

wilcat you live in Columbia?
Gamecock myself.
I think SC has a good chance of beating Auburn this time around. Last time we out played Auburn but had some bad turnovers. This time Spurrier will focus on containing Newton. Last game they couldn't stop our offense, we just stopped ourselves. If SC could play consistantly well, we would be in the top 5 easy, but we fall over ourselves against teams we should beat (KY, Arkansas)

Awesome game!

Phase 1 of getting the razorbacks to the Cottonbowl is complete. Albama's third loss puts Arkansas ahead of them in the bowl picking order. Now phase 2 will be the defeat of LSU tomorrow :pray

That is a more realistic thing than South Carolina beating Auburn the second time around. Auburn is a more complete offensive team now than they were against South Carolina the last time they played. Spurrier is a great coach but he has Garcia playing good but I just don't think South Carolina has it this year...I think they will be happy just to be playing in the SEC Championship game since this is the first time they have EVER been in that game.
Right now should Boise State win tonight they would jump TCU and be the third place BCS team and the Rose Bowl would be forced to take them against whoever the Big Ten sends to the game...THEN we would have to listen to the whole Boise State beat the Big Ten Champ crap for the rest of our lives...since the Big Ten sucks worse than the SEC this year for sure.

Edit: heard on the news we'd likely go to the "sugar bowl" if we beat LSU
There's no real dominant, hands down best team out there. Auburn has won 5 games by a touchdown or less, so they could have been easily as bad as 7-5

Wrong. Auburn has come back and defeated several opponents. This shows they play "60 minute football". Auburn is a legitimate contender.

You're right, champs do find a way to come back and get the win. But you said it yourself, there were several comeback wins. They didn't in get those situations by whipping the tar out of the opponent.
Oh, and phase 2 complete!

I see you know little about the sport. Your posts especially the quote above, prove it.

very cool! im currently a junior (check my sig)
i agree, we could have easily been in the position Auburn is in this year, if we were just consistent. i do think we will win the championship simply because when Spurrier instills in his team that this is a huge game, they can beat anybody. i believe we could have held on to beat Auburn earlier in the year if Spurrier hadnt pulled out Garcia late in the game. it will be a great matchup, cant wait!
