At the age of seventeen, Nielsen enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force and was trained as an aerial gunner during the latter part of World War II (but was too young to be fully trained and sent overseas)

Rumack: You'd better tell the Captain we've got to land as soon as we can. This woman has to be gotten to a hospital.
Elaine Dickinson: A hospital? What is it?
Rumack: It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now.

"This is Frank Drebin, Police Squad. Throw down your guns, and come on out with your hands up. Or come on out, then throw down your guns, whichever way you wanna do it.
Just remember the two key elements here...one, guns to be thrown down; two, come on out!"

We lost another one of the funniest "old-school" comics. He was always hilarious with his slap-stick style.

Miss? I'm Frank Drebin, police squad.
Is this some kind of bust?
Yes ma'am. It's very impressive but I still need to ask you a few questions.
I just looked at his career history at IMDB. 60 years in the business in TV and movies!

A very fine Comedic Actor......he will be missed greatly.
I remember when the Movie came out. I had the day off and took my Sister and Sister-in Law.
The first scene a parody of The Untouchables.......My Sister and I were in tears....as the "Disgruntled Postal Workers"
came out with Thompson Sub-Machine guns. My Sister has since passed away, and it is truly a moment that I will
remember always as my little Sis and I looked at one another and laughed until it hurt.
-
I'm gonna miss him and his great work. :cry :salute
