The F2B pilots have been grumbling about the 'glamour boys in their Camels' getting all the attention. Also our spies tell us that likewise the Hun DVII flugmachinestickswingenmensch e are refusing to eat their sauerkraut and black bread until something is done to shine a light on their efforts.
As a result I propose an F2B vs DVII showdown, give these hardworking guys a chance to strut their stuff in a slightly less lethal environment. The rest of us can suck it up for a couple of hours and either learn fast or die alot. Gunners up for the F2B's if the mood takes you (that's always a hoot btw).
If there's enough interest we could hold the event this coming weekend, perhaps a few hours earlier than the Camel Sweep so our European friends don't have to stay awake half the night.

Well that's four.... lol and I was thinking of getting a keg in :(

Not much interest so far. I've had a couple of additional people express interest off the bbs so we'll press on and hopefully pick up the stragglers later.
Let's set this one for Saturday 4th December at 19:30Hrs (7.30pm) US EST That's 2 hours earlier than last time. All welcome, if you don't want to fly an F2B or DVII that's fine, but the more of them we have up the better..... shift the dynamics a little and see how it plays out. If you haven't tried WW1 before this might be a good time, probably even be a few gunner positions going begging for those not into dogfighting but curious enough to drop by.

Tusk let me know when and I'll try to be there.

I will be there if my pc holds together which looks doubtfull to say the least.I think it has the flu, Im putting it to bed early so it gets plenty of rest and mrs S is stroking it to sleep every night in her best nurses uniform but still no signs of any real and lasting recovery. :cry
aka shotdown.

I plan on being there. I had to hit the sack before the first event as I was too tired, but this is reasonable early for at least a handful of sorties.

Sorry i missed the last one! Hope to make this one!

Thanks to all who came along - 20 plus :salute there were guys flying all types on both sides but enough of a mix to change the dynamics and make things interesting.
Working on something slightly more goal orientated for the next one :headscratch:
