I was driving south on Merrimon toward downtown Asheville when a sign by the side of the road said: 'Kiffen Rockwell home 200 feet to the west; first American to shoot down a German plane in World War One.' While I couldn't stop, my heart broke.
That's about it.
Have a nice day.
