Title: MWF Air arena
Post by: rayace1 on December 03, 2010, 11:47:41 PM
There should be a arena just dedicated to modern aircraft and dogfighting. This includes the F-22 Raptor, F/A-18 Hornet/Super Hornet, F-15 Eagle, F-16 Falcon, Mig 29 fulcrum, Su27, F-14 Tomcat, F-4 phantom, A-7 corsair, the new F-35 Lightning II, SU 24 foxhound, etc. Then should only one type of carrier... the Nimitz class super carrrier. Each aircrft will also have counter measures.

Hm. I'm not sure I would describe at least 3/4 of the planes listed as "modern".

So are the ones we pretend to fly now. We DO NOT need any more jets, Thank-you.

I've said it before, I'd love to see what these HTC guys could do with post-WWII aircraft.  Major potential for a great game.  BUT, that is not this game, and keeping their focus on making the current game better is more important.  :aok

Though there will never be an arena for jets in this game, I still would like to see one or two modern jets modeled into the game (TA, perhaps AvA as well) to get myself off  :D

See dot on radar.

Fire missile.

Hope it is an enemy plane.

(Target) sees missile coming.

Evades missile.

Fires missile.

Fun?

As wrongway said, that's about all your going to be doing in a modern jet arena, I think the closest thing you could do with jets is to create a Korea era theater. Although, that probably will never happen.

You could go buy a pc game with that and play online for $20 for however long you want.
