Not a pick at all ... more like a case of someone running back to their base, screaming for help, and getting summarily ignored.
On the other hand, why would you even give a crap what he thinks ? Not responding to him would probably have pissed him off even more. Responding sends a signal that his claim may have credence. If I ever respond to something like this, I simply send back ... LOL ... no one else knows what I am laughing at ... but he does and probably causes him to froth at the mouth.
This is a prime example of what I have said before ... "There is always a small microcosm of people who need to explain away their suckage."

A few things..
1. Not in any way close to a pick. He should get some training in that 38 and use it to fight back. He could have easily given you a run for your money and had a much different outcome
2. What in the hell is going on with your views? Is it a film bug or were you really looking that far out of you cockpit? And the zoom was nauseating.
3. You nimrods talking about In Living Color, it's Damon Wayans, not "Damion Williams". diddly!! :furious

"Pick" is what folks cry when their poor SA and/or target fixation gets them dead. I find it to be one of the more hilarious whines in game.

RangerFL is the typical MA player nowadays. Blow through a crowd and run like hell trying to drag a few bad guys low to your waiting friendlys. Only after several of his buddys flew above and behind you, did he even attempt to fight. Then when his plan didn't work out and his gets shot down, he crys foul.
Wasn't even close to being a pick. I reckon he just needed to say something to justifly his piss poor play.
What kills me most albout this situation is, if his friendlys had turned to engage you, he would have been more then happy to pick you off one of them.
Typical "i want a pretty rank without fighting for it" tactic.

Not being a fighter pilot I wouldn't know if this is a pick or not. My question to the fighter guys is. Isn't every kill a pick in one form or another? In this case he got the other guy dead. Isn't this the object of the game?

Everybody picks, otherwise there would be an arena full of 1v1's, each it its' own little vacuum. This simply isn't the case. so....... everybody picks.

Its guys like Ranger that make it the slime pit it is. He's the perfect example. A guy dies in any way shape or form and he has to come on 200 and try and bash the guy who did it because it wasn't the "proper" way to kill someone.

Youre very correct. He was mad he lost. In his particular case, it was because he lost to me as I rarely see him on 200.
The word pick comes from "cherry pick." It implies he was just hanging there helplessly as he would be in the middle of a fight with someone else already. It also implies that if he wasnt already in such trouble that the fight would have gone differently and I wouldnt have a chance of beating him.
So no. A pick is not just any kill. It is pretty specific.
That comment is rarely use for anything other than a pissed off rant. Again, I could care less when someone calls me a picker. This guy just likes to make a point of it with me even though I never speak a word to him even if he does get lucky enough to get a kill on me.

muzik why come here to post? did you want reassurance that you are not a picker? or was this just to embarrassed somebody? If you pick somebody leave it at that, if you didnt then leave it at that.
I can post some films where you picked lots of people or some where you start whining about one thing or another because you got shot down. which is kindda of strange, because you wouldnt do this 6 months ago.

Musik is an excellent stick . I like to try to consider myself above average in a pony...I'm nowhere close. Musik kicks my no-skill behind everytime we meet in the air. Always a learning experience.

So what is the point of your post? that this one time you didnt pick? but the other hundreds of times you picked somebody and they called you a picker why not post about those too. You have picked me many a times. and there has been many a time when we had some really good fites, most you win, i win a few. but many times I have called you a picker too, when in fact you did, so why not post those films too?

Ranger means well most of the time, he does have a temper but the post really wasn't needed if dealing with him was just getting old. He isn't going to change hes a grown man like most of us.

You started under him, was never out of sight, and after he pulled back and the N1K, yaj, 109 and some other stuff came along, your 51D followed in a true path - by 2k out, he should have been aware that you were following him for a good 5 mins by then and closing and slowly gained alt to get over him. . .
thats not a pick, thats following your pray for 5 mins for a kill.
A pick is a little more one sided imo and probably what that super high alt guy in the vid was after.
but I have no idea - seemed like it would have ben a great 1v1 actually considering there was no one around by the time you engadged.

I got to fly with Kappa last night..well he was at a base where I saw two red guys and him so I upped....He makes it so easy...you just have to be near him and when he slows things down swoop in and pick, bludgeon and steal :D...and has he no qualms about it...great guy to fly with.
