Studying for the written was worse than the actual test. The first time, I had the videos plus the unofficial master question book, and it took a month to get through both prior to the test. The next time was for my commercial, multi, and instrument upgrades, and I took a 1 day prep class where we went over the applicable paragraphs and all of the known questions for those tests. I preferred the class approach by far :)

Good Luck...... relax.
-
well i passed... with a 77% :( lowest score i had all year... passed final for ground school with 86% and the classes themselves with a 96% and a 88%
i missed the freaking easy ones but got all the hard ones right
oh well just means i have to study harder for the verbal as i will probably get drilled lol
BTW i have yet to fly one logged hour towards my PPL and im starting IFR begining of Jan. :)

You could've missed 4 more questions and still done just fine.

I always got the airspeed of unladen swallow questions wrong.
Good luck!
Do they still publish all the questions and answers in test prep books? They used to back in the early 90's.

Yeah

Grats :)

Yeah
But there is a pool of 500 questions now instead of 300

I just took a sample PP test online, and scored an 80. Not bad for someone who has not flown since 1990, and has no idea what class D airspace is.
/comes from the time when I had to memorize TCA airspace rules and the upside down wedding cake.
