Well unfortunately with the recent changes to the game and the lame game play (as I've stated before HTC made a great game it's the players that have ruined it) the majority of my guys are unhappy with the game and are quitting. Well no point in being the Drunken Monkey God if their isn't any Drunken Monkeys. So <S> to the majority of you guys, it's been fun. DMGOD

It will change a little again, I wouldn't worry about it.
Either way, an AH vacation can be a good thing. I'm sure we will see you again, until then, take care. :)

This, is a shame, had some fun fights with the DM's and DMGOD in whatever he was flying.
Hope you see you all change your minds, and look forward to fighting/flying with and against you in the future.

I would like to point out that DMGod has been an excellent C.O. loyal to his squadies, instructor teacher mentor (how to post bail etc.).
So with that ACES HIGH without a DMGod.... I now fly as an atheist.
BTW: the arena shut down is really bumming me out.... It seems like I finally get into some good fights and then the dreaded blue text "ARENA CLOSING IN 8 MINUTES"

Truthfully I started getting really bored with it, which is why I quit after like 6 years.....I miss the single arena, fighter town, so sick of maps that are so big that you basically cant win them, the idiots that go to 25k and all they do is cherry pick, and so forth.

Do you see the responses you are getting here/ this is reason to stay alone - or take a break and come back.
If you came onto the boards of most other mmos and said 'I am quitting whahwhah' even if its legit and a ral reason, you will get a torrent of trolls and flames and people saying things like 'don't let the door hit you on the way out' - this community is really A+ - and that alone is a good reason to consider this a short break rathr then an emo-rage quit.

I guess that's why we are all different. I ENJOY 25K pickers... I fly higher than them, in something faster than them, and pick the pickers.
Recently I have seen people at 30K+ in bombers running around dropping one bomb on towns. I up a spit 14, climb higher than them, and waste them. Those 30k+ bomber pile-ots, usually don't have good gunnery skills, because no one cares to chase them. To me, it's fun.... Easy pick'ns

I took a year or two off and I find the game as fun as ever. Found some great wingies as well. Yeah there's hording and it is done by all sides. There are players who own me. So what! Me and a bud went into two full dar bars and kicked some tail. Well he kicked a little more tail. But I know some of those guys had to be soaking their six in epsom salt.
It's been a blast!
PS. Truly sorry to see you go DMGod. You've been a fixture here for a long time. :salute

true it isnt Luche,but it is a great way to communicate with people on the other side who are fun to rib and just say hi,it sucks to have to wade through the BS that some people constantly go on about..I know I have had my times of spouting it,and try to do my best recently to keep the slur's to a minimum..

I will never understand why people don't either squelch the annoying individual, tune from 200, or best yet just ignore them. I was called a bomb**** because I dropped bombs on a guy 2x and it wasn't even in TT. I flew with a squad that taught me some manners over the years. So I don't trash talk anymore or not as much hehe. Never responded to the guy who called me a bomb****. Made no difference to me.

lol ok so I posted this on Dec 16th of 2010. 3 of my long term squaddies quit game so, I turned squad over to Dmduck. I was somewhat enjoying my time off from the game for the 1st week / week and a half. Being unemployed (outta work steam fitter in nyc) there isn't much to do to fill the day. So I started playing under NOELLE ( my daughters name ) but a lot less hours. That went on for about 2 weeks or so until Dmduck decided to disband the squad with out warning to anybody and join the lynchmob (see ya later) . So instead of letting something I have worked on since 07 just die I decided to come back (yup u guys are super lucky).
Epic's post today is saying that he is now leaving the game. It's a dern shame. Unbeknown to you guys, Epic is a stand up guy. He (EPIC) 1st served his country as a Marine and now continues to serve his country and his community as an Officer of the law in San Diego Ca. He is a devoted Husband and father and just an all around super nice guy ( has to be to tolerate me for 4 years).
Sir it was an honor to have you as a DM it was a pleasure getting to know you and wing with you. I wish you and yours nothing but the best and assure you that if ever you decide to come back and make the mistake of wanting to become a Monkey again you will always be welcome
