I haven't been in a scenario with vehicles yet and i would love to be in one. Just an idea would be The Battle of Kursk. It was the larget tank battle in WW2 with hundreds of wounded tanks on the battlefield. Here's a good website with a bunch of information on The Battle of Kursk.

Did The Red Steel event have GVs? And what time period was it?

Yes. Full details are here:

The following scenarios had GV's:
Stalin's Fourth
Operation Husky
Tunisia: Dawn of Battle
Red Storm / Krupp Steel

Kursk is a good one, but we don't have the terrain for it currently, so it isn't in the plans for the near future.
-
Thing about Kursk was that it was mostly a tank war. IMO Aces High doesn't work in that regard, is not nearly detailed enough in regards to ground war, defenses, bunkers, troops, mines, roads, mud, snow, etc...
It would be the equivelant of riding in bumper cars to re-create the Grand Prix.
Not to mention, as far as scenarios go I personally would not participate in one that was only ground vehicles. I think maybe other games would be the ticket for you if you have that kind of hankering. Games that specify specifically in the ground combat (or armored combat) would be much more faithful recreations than anything AH could set up.

How about something like the battle of Midway?
-
We don't have a Midway map yet, but we have done a very realistic Coral Sea, and likely will run that again at some point in the future:

Actually I did a Midway design years ago and it was supposed to run back in Winter 2008, but there was a problem with the terrain and it never ran.
Its setting here on my hard drive ready to go when we have a suitable terrain.

Don't we still have the banner that says something like "Running whenever the hell we feel like it" or something like that lol
That project brings back the same memories as that one time I cracked a tooth in half... :bhead

anyone be interested in the Solomon Islands campaign? going through the many months on Guadalcanal, Rabaul, Santa Cruz, etc.?
be kinda like BoG where we go through the entire campaign, with units recieving more advanced aircraft as we go along

BigWeek... starting with mission 226. Include the RAF BC night sorties. Have the 1st large scenario with a night frame or 2.

With the edition of the panther and the m4(76) and m4(75) the Battle of the Bulge could be done, or Battle for Tunisia

Guys, trust me when I say that the CM team is not without alot of good ideas ourselves on what to run.
We appreciate your enthusiasm and share it! There are so many great WWII battles that we all would love to refight.
The first thing any scenario needs is a terrain to run it on. The second thing it needs are the appropriate vehicles and aircraft for the scenario to be viable.
A battle of the bulge scenario is already designed and waiting in the wings, you can find reference to it in this forum under the "Winter Sky / Death Ground" title.

Several southwest pacific designs are under development at different stages as we are awaiting some new terrains that will make those events shine.
The eastern front is not lanquishing either and we have great plans for that theater of battle as well.
The Terrain CMs are doing alot of great work and we will be benefiting from their efforts over the course of this year and next.
Even with the new schedule of four scenarios per year, it will take some time to work through them all. We also intend to feature any new aircraft which might come availble over the upcoming months / years and that also effects planned scheduling.
So by all means, throw out ideas and discuss them. But bear in mind the two things every event must consider. Terrain / aircraft+vehicles.

If it doesn't have the B25 in it then the event sucks. :D
Actually that BotB looks good, I'd love to drive a Sherman in that one.
