Heres the situation:
I can't play...
30 disconnects so far this month
4 in november
17 in october
6 in september
Comcast was here yesterday and found no fault on their end (naturally)
My PC setup runs like this...cable modem to Vonage modem to wireless router to PC. The PC I play on is NOT wireless.
disconnected within 10 minutes most times.
overall setup is the same it has been for the past 1.5 years, nothing has been changed and it always worked great before.
this started about 3 weeks ago. I need to resolve this or I will have to terminate....I don't wanna do that!
I have the dxdiag but dont know how to attach it here

Open up the dxdiag report and then copy and paste the top 1/3rd into a reply.
Get ping plotter ( www.pingplotter.com ) and ping the HTC servers ( 206.16.60.39 and 206.16.60.41 and 206.16.60.38 ). Skuzzy may correct me (probably will) but I would run it for about 100 pings and then forward the results to him.

And I would setup that router for port range forwarding (ranges 2000-7000) both protocols (UDP and TCP).

And something else to consider. If you use any kind of file sharing system... fire them. If you use iTunes fire them too. iTunes is probably the worst piece of software I have ever seen and I have seen some awful stuff. If you have to use music downloading use Zune. I know. No one likes the Zune hardware. The Zune application is the best though. You can toss Media Player and keep Zune. Purge Symantec too even if you have to reinstall everything. If you have Quicken or Steam or Adobe ANYTHING I would uninstall them. Corel license services are also a problem.
There is nothing wrong with running two hard drives and two operating systems either. Install another OS and install nothing but AH. Solves a lot of problems.

Do your disconnects coincide with any other people going online in the house? I know personally I have my Vonage box on a router port.
Modem > Router > Vonage and PC.
Nobody is hijacking your wireless connection I assume?
