yep I get the no ping indicator as reflected in your post. However, I get logged on after a momentary lag. When I check my internet connect (Host Variances etc) I have solid lines. However, I do believe I have lag problems. :frown:

I should add to my earlier reply. I did not have the problem until I purchased a new computer that has Windows 7 64-bit. My old Computer was running XP.

All good lines on net status..Anyone have any clue what might be wrong???

A few of things come to mind.
1) Norton/McAfee (or some other anti-xxxx software) interfering with the game.
2) A firewall blocking the ports used by those arenas.
3) There is a resource issue with the computer preventing the timely connection to the populated arenas.
4) Too many bit errors on the connection to reliably get a connection.
I recall a recent a version of some anti-spyware program interfering with the game. I cannot remember the name of it though.

Is your ISP taking to blocking ports? Some do these days.
-
sorry sir I'm computer dumb :headscratch: how would i ck that?
-
You would have to call them and ask if they block any TCP/UDP ports.
-
ok thanks will do just strange they would start doing this all of a sudden .

Also, check the "ahiiterr" folder and make sure there are no zero-length files in it. If the terrain files are corrupt, I am not sure what might happen.
Just to make sure there is not some kind of corruption causing this, rename the "Aces High" folder and install a fresh copy and try it.

Ok thanks :salute
