This is minor, but it might be helpful in mission coordinating if the planner could go over assignments and responsibilities without being interupted. The way I see it, the mission planner would have the ability to speak over the radio and all other incoming transmissions would be negated as long as the leader was pressing "T". Most of the time people show good courtesy over the radio, but sometimes ongoing chatter unrelated to the mission can leave a planner frustrated and exasperated in finding an opening to give orders.

People would take advantage :p
-
Only if it happens on mission channel. I've not seen too many
"leaders" even use a mission channel though. They normally
use range vox and clog that channel up.
-
its the price you pay for doing a public mission. :neener:

This is an excellent request and should extend beyond a single public mission to an entire country.
If you orchestrate and manage an entire team in special events, this sort of flexibility would be extremely welcomed.
Breaking through the chatter and effectively communicating with your team at critical times would be a godsend.

I think this is a great idea for events & scenarios. Any sort of over-ride in the mains would not be welcomed by some.

I say "NYET"! Objecting I am to giving such authoritarian powers to single individual; is poor interest for game where all proletariate players being equal and have need for their $.02 be hearing by others. Is not right for one to lord over others because he only one smart enough make hordelings mission for destroy enemy. All must be equal under socialist state, even if being sheep-loving nit or stinky, never-bath bisheekins! Up the revolution and destroy all counter-revolutionaries!!!!

In special events such powers are granted to responsible individuals in other context and venue without consequence and to the benefit of the game and experience.
I see your point and agree for the Main Arena citizens.
Do you or have you ever flown in a special event?
