1 of our guys is running it and he says it runs great on his system.

Rough specs.

1.0 gig T-Bird
Geforce2 Pro 64 Meg
256 meg Ram
Asus Mobo

Cobra
Musketeer Escadrille

(PS. I tried 8.0a and it pooched my system so I'll hang back just a little)

Installed it a couple of days ago, I lost a few FPS and had to change my modem configuration to connect to the net.

On the bright side video quality seems marginally improved.

I'm due for my quarterly format/install or I wouldn't have chanced it.

I installed NVidias Beta 12.00 drivers with that Dx8.1.
I haven't done any benchmarks yet but they are working just fine.

 Being a chicken and not installed them yet.Just got my system up and running(2 x 30Gb HDD on Abit KT7A-RAID,using striping mode).Just wanna get everything tweaked etc. before installing the new DX...
