ok so i have it downloaded onto my computer and everything , but where exactly do i put it to make sure its working? thanks and :salute

If you run the installer, it will put the file where it's needed. You'll have to run in at least #x1024 screen res and set the texture size to at least 1024 in the video settings in-game.

it asked me where it wanted to save it to, but i didnt know where so i just saved it to desktop. anyone know where they go?

So you saved the download to your desktop? That's fine. Just double-click to run the .exe and it will extract to your AH2 installation folder.

ok it did that, but it brought up more problems. now whenever i click on the aceshigh icon to enter the game the installer comes back up and reinstalls the highres textures over and over again every time i click on it. need help please :O

Sounds like your game shortcut got overwritten. Browse to your installation folder and make a new shortcut to the main game exe.
This is why I have a folder just for downloads - makes it easier to find them, doesn't clutter up my desktop, doesn't screw with other shortcuts I might have, etc.

ok did that still not working that installer always comes up whenever i click on the aceshigh icon appliction in the HTC folder. Hitech i need help!!

Derk, you should not be running hi res textures on your laptop with the 4200 chip. You'll be lucky if you can efficiently run 512 textures.. I think 256 would be your best bet.
