I dont listen to record label driven crap. You only hear what the labels allow you to hear. All the originality of the band goes out the window. They are told what songs, what style and how to write them.

A friend took me to see them quite a while ago when they came through Lawrence.  I had enjoyed all the stuff I heard but like most rock concerts I've been too, couldn't understand a damn thing they were saying at the concert.  Can't complain about the Bassist though, thoroughly enjoyed watching her.

Ive listened to them since their first album.  I personally dont think that their first album sound like the songs they are singing today but their song "Maybe" imo, is a great song.

Is this the same "Sick Puppies" I remember from the early nineties?

If so, was never very impressed.

Edit: I may have hallucinated all of that too.

No, you are right. There was a punkish band named that in the 90s as well.

Is that some kind of weird sexual pooping fetish that you kids are into these days?

That's funny.

What happens if it's a jet pilot though?

At least they don't sound like a Nickelback cover band, like every other band on the radio.

I cannot overstate how much I dislike listening to Nickelback. I used to think of them as being okay, but then I dunno, I just started hating their music. Daughtry isn't bad. A band I've started to listen to more is Puddle of Mudd. I've not listened to these guys, yet. I'll have to try 'em.

Puddle of Mudd has no talent. ever hear em in a concert? honestly, not all mainstream is bad. but PoM is just... ugh... :bolt:

PoM isn't a horrible band, they have a bit of talent, which is more than most modern artists. They have 2-3 good songs that I like.

two to three songs you like means they dont have much talent/or none at all :aok

bands that make album after album of strong good music has talent. Only PoM song i like is blurry and thats overplayed now.
