I don't see why not. This would be cool for in the AvA or other arenas that go into night-time.

or set how many tracers are placed in the ammo load. so you see more tracers near then end of the clip  or as the RAF did in Asia   have a tight spacing of tracer to make the enemy think you were running low  .

Also need to make 37mm rounds without tracers if you select the "no tracers" option.
When flying the P-39, the cannon still fires tracers.  :headscratch:

You sure that's not just because it's basically a tank round? :lol

think he's got a point, tracers or no tracers, you will still see the 37 in flight.

used to fly fighters without tracers and was dang good like that. then i went through a period in the MA where i was flying bombers or using wirbs alot and needed them on and when i went back to fighters, i couldnt hit crap with them off.

And why is that?

And why is that?

Large hot projectile flying through the air.  Look at a tank round being fired in real life, that sucker glows just as bright as a tracer.

Does this look like a glowing tracer?

Looks like a 'sploding Spitfire to me.  What are you getting at?

That long stretched out Slinky-looking thing is what bothers me.  It doesn't appear with tracers off for MGs or 20mm cannons.

i just don't want to have to turn on tracers or forget to turn them on when I fly in a bomber or get in gv..

Ah I see what you mean, the vapor trail?

That certainly should be there no matter if the tracers are on or off, that round is big enough to leave one for sure.  As for the 20mm's and MG's not, that's a bit messed up too...
