Title: Rhinewin is fixed
Post by: USRanger on January 04, 2011, 10:45:46 AM
Got with Skuzzy & the Rhinewin terrain should now be showing the correct winter textures instead of the defaults.  I'm at work right now, so I haven't looked, but I'll of course take Skuzzy's word on it.  Enjoy folks. :salute

The ground is white with snow also.  Now all we need is actual snow falling.....

I'm sure CAP is more than willing and able to have parts of his Pee38 fall from the sky...is that close enough?  :devil

It looks BADAZZ  :aok  I had to film it  :O  I got chilly, and could almost feel the damp air wisp into my cockpit where McCrow left some ventilation.

I would like to welcome McCrow to the AvA friends and family list (that means, we get to treat him like dirt ....  :D not really).  I met him this afternoon and don't know if he watches the BBS, but he has shown some nice skills, especially in a fun rolling battle to my doom that lasted for about 2.5 minutes.

McCrow is new to AH2, and has only flown offline and H2H in the past.  I won't go into any more information about his background but you might would like to strike up a sea fairing conversation with him.  Please join me in trying to make him feel welcome.

i dunno, the 109f is tough against the p38 no matter who flying it lol  and im not much of a 190 pilot.  Maybe Ill just wing with cap this week instead.

i shot down a couple 109's this past week. i didn't know what kind they were, but on watching the film, i saw that they were g--dam;.....g-somethings, and one k4. the k4 dood died when he gave up the bnz he was trying.

the 38l feels smooth to me at altitude, and a little more crisp at low alt for a little longer than the 38j does.

Howdy McCrow keep coming in.. MOST of the people in the arena are great folks.  The rest are a lot of fun to studiously ignore  :devil

Grumpy missed sayin howdy tonight I was busy trying to keep the 190 from snap rolling into the turf for the better part of the evening. <S>
