Title: Can old HPS files from 2006 work with this 2.22 version
Post by: TequilaChaser on January 06, 2011, 02:02:12 PM
I have been searching for a recent backup DVD of my AH files, to no avail

the best I can locate is from Jan 28th, 2006  will these AH HPS / plane settings files work with the current version without problems?

until I get my other PC back up and running when the new MB arrives

thank you in advance

well crap...
thanks anyway Skuzzy.

I'll see if I can get someone to zip theirs and email them to me from the current version, so I don't risk messing anything up with the old files.

TC, just try it.  The worst that can happen is the game will crash when you try to launch a plane that has a file that is not correct.  Remove that file, then go again.  Rinse and repeat.

Yes.  When I had to reinstall AH over the summer and lost my .hps files, I was able to use the back up .hps files  I had from a previous version of AH2 that was about 2 years old.
