Title: Weapons Choices
Post by: NormH3 on January 07, 2011, 09:01:26 AM
We all know that during WWII the men in the field improvised when their respective govenments couldn't come through with the goods. Would be kewl if you could add an extra weapon to your ride even if it wasn't originally issued. How about an electric mini-gun pod!!! (just kiddin' on the last)

Since you so gracefully put those words in quotes, do link me to the source that HTC stated they'd consider
changing their minds and allowing field mods.

I say allow all field mods, but with one condition, to enable them you must press alt f4 first for the field mod menu. but only allow gun mods, no super a armor mods.  I believe this will keep both ww2 purists plus the wow players happy. they both get what they want.

What part of "HiTech will never allow field mods" do YOU not understand?

I know you're a kid and very new to this game but some of us have been patrons of HiTech's games for many many years (probably before you were a gleam in your daddy's eye) and its always been the same, "no field mods".

ack-ack

actually ack ack, ive played for 5 years. you mistake the time of "signed up for the forums" for "time they started the game".

and they way i see it (personally) he wont allow field mods because he doesnt see a good way to implement them into the game right.

but if we actually gave him a good way of doing it, then maybe he would "change his mind". see what im saying?

im not saying the way i said was the best idea for it, or anything, but no harm in atleast offering a way to do it. who knows? maybe if one of us came up with a good enough way to put them in-game, hitech would adopt it and do it.

worth a shot.
