Hiya all,
I have put in a Redaon 64mb DDR VIVO on my Bh6 MB and when i go to my Bios i dont see any selection for AGP. Any suggestion. Btw is it safe or what could happen going from x2 to x4 agp? What results when it does work? Sorry for all these questions. Thx

I dont know if it can do AGP 4X but even if it can, you wont see any noticeable performance increase, and you will most probably get lots of instability.

BH6 has 4x AGP?
Never heard of that.
Besides, with radeon, 4x AGP brings you more problems than performance.
4x vs. 2x AGP is told to be very minor difference and what I've read, Radeon often doesn't like 4x AGP.

4x Agp is not possible with that MB. The chipset only allows 2x. As has been said before, you aren't loosing performance anyway.

Thank You

Ok i read the posts and im still confused. I also have a BH-6 Mb. I knew the MB was only AGP 2X but does that mean it will not run a video card that is AGP 4x only?

The card will be backwards compatible to 2x so use it anyway.

Uhmmm...the Radeon has zero problems at agp 4x speed. Some motherboards have a problem with agp 4x speeds, but I have been running my radeon at 4x since day one and never have any troubles.
The radeon gets about 20% better frame rates on 4x versus 2x in my system. The motherboard is intel 815e based.
