ok, now i have the old card working, but when you put the new card in, which is agp as well, you only get the three beeps, and the black screen. The computer is booting, but its like it is not registering the card. I have the 440 bx motherboard. A dinosaur i know, but one thing at a time. Let me know what you guys think. Cant fly anymore withe the new terrains and old card.

Try reseating your ram, my guess is something (ram or video card) are loose.
Ram is pretty easy to knock out of place, I'd suspect that first.

Try this.It works when changing to a voodoo card.
Using your old vid card, go to your settings and choose the generic VGA setting on your system and reboot to confirm you are no longer using the old vid settings / drivers. After that shut down totally and install your new card. Hopefully it will be able to show the screen. Then set up the new hardware / driver stuff.
If this doesn't work, my guess is you have a fried vid card. See if you can exchange it.
