Title: CH Rudder : Throttle needed for connecting ?
Post by: Saintaw on February 28, 2000, 08:24:00 AM
I am presently using a CH F16 Combatstick alone, and it's set in my Soundcard's Joystick slot (SB Live, Value). I wanted to buy Rudders (CH Pro Rudder pedals) and was wondering if I needed to get them With the Throttle...or if I could use them without the Throttle, meaning HOW/Where  will I connect the pedals if I don't have the CH Throttle ?

Thank you

You could get the CH Pro Pedal USB. They show up as a second joystick that AH can see.

I believe you can use a "Y" cable to split the gameport inputs.  CH sells one for $10.

You don't need a throttle.  The rudders use a pass-through cable that connect your joystick to.  So rudders and joystick only use 1 joystick port together.

Saintaw, what Pyro said is correct.  Also I strongly advise you NOT to buy from CH directly as their prices are too high.  Try www.buycomp.com (http://www.buycomp.com)

Last I checked they had the rudders for $38 US.
