Title: NEW Commanding Officer of 71 sqd. RAF Eagles

RTHolmes will be taking over as the C.O. of 71 Sqd.

Congrats to him!!!!!

I'm retired  :old:

HE will make a great CO and I feel great having him as my replacment!!!

It's been a pleasure being CO of such a fine group of guys...but life is in the way and I can't be around enough to be CO.

I'm not leaving the game...........(yet)

Just that my Dad is fighting some serious health issues....work is busy...Grandsons are keeping me busy and I fish ALOT.....so flying isn't very high on the scale of what I do. I quit golf last year because of a shoulder injury and bass fish now.

My dads health will take a toll for a while....thats most important now.

I'm very honoured to be asked, and will do my best to maintain the 71sqn tradition. we have a great bunch of guys and I'm looking forward to it, although I have some mighty big boots to fill! :aok

Thanks for all the well wishes for my Dad folks...means alot.

This cancer SUKS!!!!

We're in the beginning stages...and it's not going so great....prayers , hope and faith....bout all you can do outside of what the Dr.'s say.
