Title: Getting the most out of a Rvia TNT2-Ultra?
Post by: Ripsnort on March 08, 2000, 08:24:00 AM
What settings do you use  to get  the most out of  your TNT2 card?  I was doing alittle bench marking last night, and overclocking my card to 200 didn't make a significant difference, maybe 2 Frames a second at best.

Any Gurus out there?

Hiyas!

I found out the hard way....Vid Cards make things pretty, not fast.

There is no substitute for HorsePower (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) The processor does the work.

The only exception that I have found to the above is, vid drivers can make a diff...usually only 3-5 fps but hey (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Hope this helps.
