I am seriously interestet in buying a set of Hoffman rudder pedals to work with my MS Sidewinder Precision Pro and Force feedback (I use both depending on which sim I fly most). My two main sims are European Air War and AcesHigh
I have a couple of questions to the ones who have Hoffman Pedals.
1) Do Hoffman pedals + MS Sticks work with EAW?
2)Which model should I choose? I consider taking the plain digital model its far cheaper than the other solutions. Is there any reason to take one of the other variants?
3) Will the twist rudder in the MS sticks remain active, so you can get rudder movements by accident when twisting, or will the Hoffman pedals supress the twist rudder?

a) They should. Windows still sees the Stick as one joystick.
b) Dunno (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I have the digital model, which probably prevents using the rudder with a analog stick. Since I'm not going to buy a analog stick I don't mind (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
c) The rudder replaces the twisty stick action. So no unwanted rudder input.

2.To use them peds with a MS stick you HAVE to have the Hoffman adapter , digtal pedals or the v_ratio ones . v_ratio give u the option with a switch to use analog joysticks WITHOUT a adapter , but u still HAVE to have adaptor for MS sticks .
Clear as mud right ?
U can still use the digtal peds with a analog stick if you use the CORRECT adapter with it (they sell it separte) . This cost adds up quickly IMO .
HBlair loves the ones I had . Me ? I didn't like them , like CH myself .
cheers spro
