Title: CH ProThrot USB Revisited
Post by: Hornet on July 27, 2001, 12:31:00 PM
I read SB thread's about the new ProThrot. I've been without a throttle control for a little over a year now and I'm interested in the new ProThrot from CH.

Currently I'm running a Thrustmaster RCS for rudders and my beloved TM PFCS with the heavy springs as a joystick.

Ideally I'd like the USB throttle to function with my current setup, though I'm considering getting the CH USB pedals because I do get some spiking problems there. But I really, really don't want to give up my TM PFCS.

So my question is, can I run the new CH USB gear and a Thrustmaster joystick without a problem?

Appreciate any help  :)

It should be no problem for AH.  In some other games you may have a problem, because the CH throttle will be on a different DirectX device number than the joystick.  But any game like AH that lets you map the axes on each device should be OK.

Do you know if it would be possible to use a CH USB F16 fighterstick with a non USB CH Pro-Throttle?
The CH webpage says its possible but, I didnt understand what it would actually mean for gameplay.
Do ya know, do ya know, do ya know?
