Had one of the "Joker's Jokers" squad, a pilot i don't even "know", PM me this morning adivising me that
some guy named 'Chewie' was running a mission from "x" to "Y" in "z"s.
I PM'd him back that I wasn't interested the the "spie" thing and asked him to refrain from
including me in his PMs in future.
I subsequently looked on the roster and found that both he and Chewie were Bishops, though
in differing squadrons.
Figured I'd just toss this out there so you guys flying Bishops who join in missions can know
that your own guys are rattin' out your missions in an attempt as he put it "to teach him a
lesson" about cooperating.
Where do these guys come from?

Bwahahahaha looks like I need to look into recruiting some Jokers Jokers into my spy ring. They gave that info for free

:rofl

This is funny. tards

:rofl :rofl :rofl
Not enough lemmings to go around in a mission now? So they jeopardize one persons mission so they will follow another horde mission... :rofl
Oh this is classic dweebery.... :lol
-
Don't come here with that crap if your not going to give us a name.......You get a 2 for what could have been a 10 for OP status....
GIVE US THE NAME!!!!

Sorry bout that I just wanted to share the wealth.

Trolling Jokers now are you?

Not at all. And really, old boy, you should go hump somebody else's ankle rather than
trying to soil my socks with another of your one-liner post inanities. If you find
that too intellectually-challenging, feel free to reply with one or more of your
"classic" smiley-posts:   :cry :o ;) :O   :devil :pray  :x :bolt: :airplane: :bolt:  :joystick:
I put that post up for two reasons. The first was to illustrate another example
of how cross-country PMs are utilized by some to suck yet more fun out
of the game; and secondly to let my fellow players who happen to be
flying as Bishops and doing missions know that there is/are folks out
there compromising their missions intentionally.
What the guy's rationale was for directing his PM was to me, I've no idea.
I don't know the guy, nor have I conversed with him in the past that I'm
aware of.
As far as names go, if Joker himself is concerned about it and feels it to be something
he needs/wants to address as the C.O. he can PM me via the BBS and I'd
be happy to give him the name of the individual.

They had spies in the war :old:
The new sea in areana is nice as well, it reminds me of Uganda :old:

ZOMG SPIEZ ^_^

Strange because the Joker's fly in many of Chewie's missions. Maybe this Joker was trying to provide enough targets for all in the mission to get a kill lol.

Or just being whiny because Chewie didn't want to play the way he (the anonymous Joker) wanted him to.
That'll teach ya, Chewie... :noid

Let me give you another one-liner..... Would you prefer if I obfuscated instead of passing off inanity? :lol
To be honest with you friend, at that moment in time I was a little pissy about the whole situation and felt I would have been better off not knowing. NOW... I cannot help but look to a good bunch of guys as being The Enemy. And I don't like it one bit. :salute

Chris Martin knows spies.

I think radar is a spy.

Mishun ratters should be praised in this game, they evening the odds and making it fun for everyone. :D
Besides, 40 guys going NOE and relying on stealth alone is pretty sad when 1, 2 or even 5 guys up to defend against the raid and thwart it.
Easy solution..dont try to sneak. You will have greater results going at alt with that horde then you do going NOE. Now a days hardly anyone defends even given the proper notice so advertising your mission wont even give that much resistance.
-
But what about when it happens in the mornings? :headscratch:

That's most likely it.....once we get to our target i often yell out on 200 that we are here....Come and get us :D

Imagine playing a game of cards with some freinds, are they going to allow you to look at there cards just to tell a partner what they have? NO! They should not be praised... Its cheating however you put it, or just being a poor loser.

Since when is poker a 20vs 1 game? Your analogy holds no water what so ever.

Remy, this game is about conflict, not the avoidance of conflict.

no it's about avoiding conflict. that's why we have so many hit and run pickers in the game :D.

I think some of the Bish oestrogen is out of whack. Both parties are trying to achieve world domination but are disagreeing over the methods and tactics being used.
Chewie does appear to be ordering others around like some self promoted Armchair General maybe the jokers don't like that :headscratch:. Could be some sort of power struggle I don't know :D Where do you draw the line when teamplay effects GAMEPLAY? I'm sure the other countries roll their eyes when they see 20-30 guys coming in NOE ftw!
These sorts come and go like the sands of time.
-
once we get to our target i often yell out on 200 that we are here....Come and get us :D
No offense but i got a chuckle out of that :rofl i have this picture of 20 plus planes flying around a field (after breaking from there NOE attack) then announcing on 200 come get us, trying to get anyone to up so all 20 can scream mine mine mine mine on squad channel as they all dive in :rofl
here's a thought, annouce it right after take off and see if you can even make it to your target :) granted most people keep an eye on the map looking for such attacks and those always lead to a great fight for both sides, as far as Spiezzzz, if that's how they get there jollies..... whatever :lol

Remy, this game is about conflict, not the avoidance of conflict.
Agreed Fugitive, %110 correct..Allthough i do find myself running to "avoid a conflict" in the air, since i lack the skills to survive most of the time.. But why praise something like that? It's not fair to switch sides and yell out locations of C.V's.. I know, nothing in "life" or gameplay is fair.. I guess what i was getting at was not to encourage sour gameplay..
-

Analogy doesnt hold water either, a "cup" does..

disclosing CV locations is just ghey. However I see guys that run horde NOE missions are with all intent to overwhelm with numbers and nothing else. the fact of getting 2, 3 or 4 guys to counter even if they know of a mission incoming is fair enough odds dont you think? The fact that a mission general can muster up 20 guys to smash a base doesnt mean everyone has that ability. You the horder do realize that you are trying to gain an advantage that alot of players dont have at the moment so in turn, the tactic can be considered just as gamey if not more than the guys that are running into your mission.
FYI if you dont have the skills to survive, take a second and grab someone to teach you a few things. You would be amazed how much people are willing to help and with the right attitude, just a short training will do wonders to help you survive a bit more

Carry the battle to them. Don't let them bring it to you. Put them on the defensive and don't ever apologize for anything.

Don't fight a battle if you don't gain anything by winning.

Horde away and take bases!!

First one that dies in operation overlord, please up a goon and go NOE across the channel- Dwight D. Eisenhower
errr wait a minute, thats not right
-
Well.... It really depends on the 20 that are coming........ Take the FB's for example.... Heck, I'll give them 30. The only thing a few "friends" would do is I'd get less CHEATER pm's. :D

*snrk* Not bad at all. :)
I hate spies. I believe in maximum effort for all sides concerned in the MA, but spying isn't part of the game.
It makes me sad that people can't have a good, clean game, but feel the need to cheat.
Wiley.
-
I'm typically a Bish, but as of late been flying low numbers. Not to spy, but rather board being on the side with numbers and the Chewie missions. Not that I have anything against Chewie. I went on one of his missions, and it was ok, I just do not find find 20-30 fighters overly fun. On the other hand ghi's mission of 20-30 B-26s at 5-7k are rather fun. Ghi's missions are more relaxed and really just for fun.
As for spying, its kind of moronic to do in AH, its like looking over the top board of battle ship. But people are going to do what they want.
-
I see a new soap opera developing here;
" As the chair turns": An epic battle of who is supreme general and win that coveted title of ultimate base taking order giver
Next week's episode: Chewie the fine young upstart makes his name on the mission planner by forcing Joker to killshoot himself vulching on the runway then heroicly shouting orders to "KILL THE VH".
We have conflict, we have sabotage, we have a lovestory in the making.
Wow..I think I just inspired the next cartoon eh Fugi? :x
-
It does get me thinking.....hhhhmmmmmm..... :x
-

Spyz V Spyz AH style :aok
-
If there are no squaddies on , I will switch to side with lowest numbers.
Also, if I see someone hiding a CV, I will drop a dime on it, every time.
Take that to the bank.
CV's are part of game play. The are free, just like the rest of the planes, etc. in the game.
If I wanted to fly around for the scenery, I'd go to the airport and rent the cheapest spam can that was available.
This is why we have guns.

Personally I have no idea wht HT allows cross country comms. It's stupid :) The only way to talk to the other side should be 200. NO PMing, No Squad vox over countrys, No voice PM's, no talking to the other side period. The are other ways that this practice saps the game and steals the fun,
but I'll refrain.
-
Now that makes the most sense out of everything in this thread! And it's the reason I no longer use .r often. They don't even have to log.... If somebody on your squad channel, or channel 5 types in the middle of your convo, I've sent them a PM instead of the "real" person. I haven't seen it happen in over a year but I have seen it before.

It'd be nice if that was the case, but I got several PMs after that from him. After my initial reply of something like:
"I'm not into the spy thing, please refrain from passing along any more initel to me." I got something like: "Oh sorry, I just wanted to
teach Chewie a lesson about 'cooperating'. Then I got another with a "<S>" which I didn't return as I didn't think
the individual deserved one given the initial PM.
It is what it is, that's all. It's not an isolated occurance and it goes on all the time, Rooks included. Its become just
part of the game.
Anyway, it's being handled personally by Joker, so end of story, end of post as far as I"m concerned.

OH NOOOOOOO!!! There is no such thing as spying (cheating) going on here. I was corrected by everyone in this forum community weeks ago about this topic. It seems that if you enjoy the organization and skill of your group and you detest players that fail to follow the spirit of the game, then you are disliked in here. There will always be those that cannot play or organize players well and will resort to less than desirable tactics to overcome superior minds.
So remember, never make comments about spies (cheaters) as you will get flammed by the forces that dwell in these forums.
-
Spying and cheating are two different things young man. By all means, show us the quote where somebody told you different.

Juggler is gaining a reputation on our squad vox. "Who's this upping an Il-2 to try and defend the base we've had capped and been stomping for the last 10 minutes?" A few seconds and a plane-shattering explosion pass. "It's Juggler. Again."

I have been in swoops 777th since its inception and was with him from the 81st. Before that I was with the AR234 Steel Rain and Glasher. Been on the game for four years+ now(closer to five). I love playing with strategy and organization to accomplish various tasks. Using the game's weaknesses or loopholes to succeed is out of the question for me. I have a conscious and conduct myself with integrity in this game and my life.

+1 if all players carried this attitude, the game would be so much better
