Construction Supply Truck: Located between the town, and the airbase... a specific garage/hanger houses one construction supply truck. If this hanger and/or truck inside is not already bombed by the enemy..it can be dispatched (actually driven) to any particular hanger on the field that has been destroyed..to drop rebuilding supplies. if said construction supply truck makes it to any damaged hanger .... and successfully unloads supplies... All hangers will pop back up in half the time they normally would. HOWEVER...if the construction supply truck is taken out by the enemy while it is moving or delivering supplies....it doubles the normal time for the hangers to pop back up.
*** I like the potential teamwork dynamic with this..as they weigh the risk of attempting this or not...after weighing the risk assessment under current battle circumstances.

Submarine: In very random intervals...an (unmanned) sub may pop up out of the water. if a pilot or ship gunner is lucky enough to see this rare event......and sinks it before it submerges.....he gets special perk points.

15 minutes per hanger is fast enough... -1. besides, you speed hangers up then what will the bomber pilots do to actually have an effect on the war anymore?

321- you're a team work kinda guy....this promotes that.
send someone in first...to surgically destroy the construction supply hanger to make the entire issue a non-factor.
or...have someone ready take out the truck en-route...... to double the time the hangers are down. (the truck can't leave the construction supply hanger until a base hanger is down)
this adds a whole new strategical dynamic to the game when you and your guys are defending an obliterated capped base.... "do we take the chance and run the construction supply truck....or wait it out?
much like actor tom cruise...this goes both ways

I like it, just like keeping the VH down to stop GVs, keep the supply hanger down to stop resupply.

Already in the game - I have seen them but have not sunk one, so can't confirm bonus perkies.
-
a few people have said that. they seem to think they have been parked at ports. I've yet to see one...but if they are..this would be more related to subs out at sea.
-
I jumped to a CV out to sea. Did the F5/F8 thing to look around and saw a sub surface a couple dozen yards from the carrier. It stayed visible for about 5 seconds, then disappeared back under the water.
Once I get my bricked HD replaced and start using Fraps again, maybe I'll get lucky and catch it on film...

or just go check out the port. :noid

don't we already have the option to grab a m-3 with supplies from one of our closer bases and spawn it in ?

it would be cool to have an m3 modeled like the above truck when we're doing supply runs.

of course.

You, like everyone else, are referring to the static subs at the docks...right? I was referring to a moving sub popping up next to a moving CV group out at sea.

that would be great...as it's exactly what I asked for about six months ago...and Hitech said it was a great idea...and something easily implemented. looking forward to seeing a screen shot from someone...and to see if they got bonus perk points.

M3s do not shorten hanger down-time.

True, but hangars pop in 15 minutes anyway, so what would the point be in supplies helping them? Field supplies help everything else at a base that take more than 15 minutes to respawn themselves.
-
I agree entirely.

because they'd pop in 7 1/2?
