Hello!

I am trying to re-build JG2 as CO.  We had HTC delete the squad so we could re-form it. I am having all sorts of problems.  I followed the instructions, but the name of the squad comes out my ID name!

ProfFate tried it also and we were members of the ProFfate squad.  I can get it to work, but if I sign off and then sign on again.  We are back to the "Swagger" squad.  I got a big enough head, I don't need this!   :)

So, what am I doing wrong?  I've done this before work no problems, why problems now?

Just re-edit the name (after CO creates it) to the squad name , don't forget to hit "set"..log out, back in again.

Rip.  I did that!  Many times!  But is still resets to my ID.

Try this:
Delete the squad altogther.  LO,LBO. Then create the squad, hit SET for name, and invite one person.  Refresh.  If your name is still squad name, at that time type in the squad name again, hit SET.  Make sure there is no name in the INVITE box in the second step.

do NOT use ' character and its likes in the squad name. That is what is messing up your squadname save.

Swager I'm glad to hear you guys are rebuilding.  If you or squaddies want to fly in the current TOD, I have two guest slots available.  We are flying Ki-61 for the IJAAF.  Just go to the TOD guest page and send me an email.
