Title: How to deregister from AH?

Unfortunately I can't justfify the cost as I haven't been here for ages.
How do I deregister without actually downloading the new version of the game first? (Very slow download)

May I also suggest an alternative pricing model for those of us who cannot play very frequently?
I'd be happy to pay a few bucks for a single day's access.
