About lost it when I saw a video in which a RAF fighter pilot sat in a Spit I cockpit to talk about its layout and functionality.

He started with something like, "As a member of the last generation of manned aircraft pilots...."

There is an F16 dude that I know who become shorter by 2 inches after flying for few years.  Then there is another guy that had to have part of his spine removed.  Neck injury seems very common.  Don't forget constant blood vessels that get raptures.  And that's just for starters.

Makes sense because of all the G's you put on your body. Wears you out over time.
