Announcing the long waited for, overdue, and much feared formation of the first P-38 Squadron.
The 475th FG was the first P-38 squadron, in it served some of the highest-scoring Aces of WWII, notably :
Charles MacDonald
and
Thomas McGuire, Jr.(38 Victories)

Oh, Hedy Lamarr is a beautiful gal,
And Madeleine Carrol is too.

amoungst any bomber crew.

this side of the Heavenly Gates,
is no blonde or brunette

but an escort of P-38s.

through the fighters and flak,

Hey Tac,
Im new to AH, but not to sims. Flew on AirWarrior for four years, last 2 exclusively in the 38. I would very much be interested in joing your squad. Im up quite a bit so give me a holler.

Great idea and coincidentally I just found a site yesterday which may be of interest to you http://www.475thfg.org/index.htm (http://www.475thfg.org/index.htm) I was amazed at all the information on each and everyone of the aces of the 475th FG. I couldn't help but be grateful to these fine men who put all at risk to insure the future of a small infant who wasn't even aware of their sacrifice for years to come. I salute you for honoring the memory of these gallant men.
