I don't fly the WWI arena but I would if time allowed.  I honestly think if there was a forum for the regulars it could, potentially, draw more people in there.  I'm honestly hoping the arena grows over time and <S> all of the guys trying to make that a reality.

I'm new to AH as well as the forum, but I was quite surprised as to the limited number of aircraft, options, forums etc. there were for WW1. I'm not complaining it is a great sight, with great folks. Hopefully these things come along soon. :joystick:

why doesnt someone just make there own ww1 forum?

Because a few of us WWI types have chosen to make the AH WWI Arena are home rather than else where.

The front page of the Aces High web site says "Welcome to the Internet's Best WW2 and WW1 Combat Experience!".

We have forum section here for things like "Axis vs Allies", and a section for players from a now defunct competitor’s product; "Fighter Ace Q&A", amongst other things Aces High.

I don't see why us WWI types should have to go underground and start one else where; A.G.W style. Besides which HTC would lose editorial control if we did.

A WW1 section is important to many of us, so that the WW1 topics don't get totally lost in all the WW2 stuff, and would help make us feel part of the Aces High community, rather than the outcasts we seem to be at the moment.

I really don't understand the reluctance to start one.
