Title: OMG Battle Over Germany is a blast!

I got a P-38 ran low on fuel went to rtb had my gear down, get a check six, see a P47 800 out, dodge him, gear up another one came out of no where, had an Epic 2v1 with them and ended up getting them both and landing safely, probably the most fun I have ever had with my pants on :O

I got 2 190s over Western Germany, one confirmed one oiled and fueled and parts missing.

However, I got hit by a stray 20mm and I spent the night in Alscase Lorraine with the French Resistance. :cheers:

I kept yelling to the bombers to get in their guns but I figured they were in their sights. I was blacked out when I shot you, spray and pray, LOL.

Looking at the entire log I have to concur Corky. For a shakedown frame the escorts and bombers did quite well. A big salute to all who participated!

Post by: bangsbox on January 31, 2011, 12:45:21 PM: i got 1 p51b then a p38 got me whilee trying to kill a b17 which was dumb of me because i only had 1 20mm with 50 rounds left. 2 flight i took a 110 and was dropped by a low flying p38 not far from field...bastard got me while i was getting a beer :furious but it was a blast

Post by: Becinhu on February 01, 2011, 08:45:29 PM: I was utterly disgusted with the test frame. I had 1 109G6 and 2 190A8s dive away from my p-47-D11. I was pushing 450 TAS and the 109 pulled out like he was flying 200. The 190s dove and ran away like I was standing still. To top it off I was outturned by 190A8s with my flaps down. Yes I'm whining and seriously considering dropping out of the scenario. No need to tell me what I did wrong etc. since I won't look at the thread again. Whine recorded, dismissed,laughed at,etc.
