Title: Thurday night AVA Mission--9PM EST
Post by: captain1ma on February 07, 2011, 07:12:49 AM
Greetings AVA pilots:

this week i would like to run a Axis bomber mission. planes to include following

bombers:
JU-87 Stuka
Ju-88
HE111(sub G4M)
escorts:
Bf109
Bf110

Allies:
spit1
hurri1

This raid is based on operation sea-lion. the invasion of England by Germany. i would like around 20 pilots for the Axis bomber raid.
Target: one of the 2 large coastal cities.

setup conditions:
all coastal radar but 2 will be down. only 2 radar sites will be operating.

Allies may not exceed 4K until bomber group dots show up on radar. once they do, all restrictions will be lifted!

These conditions may change with comments and ideas, but for now this is the general setup.

somebody needs to stick the SpitV in there... then ill be in. If the Germans are getting Ju88s also along with the Bettys the Brits are gonna need cannons. especially when against 110s :headscratch: and 109s

The 8-gun fighters work just fine, dude.  No Spit Vs in service until well after the BoB.

Hmm this statement has the eloquence of a troll yet all the drama of a whine... How should I play it? :headscratch:

Say yes to the M18, throw some loose change in the corner, and go tell our mechanics to prepare our winged steeds for battle.

I do just fine with 8 pea-shooters.  All it takes is patience...a virture seldom seen with LW cannon-reliant guys.  :D

Actually I'd like to have 8 303 for my Emil this week. I've always found the Emil vs SpitI HurriI to be a good matchup but having a rough one this week.

if we get enough guys, this should be a pretty interesting setup. looks like we've had plenty of readers anyway!
