Currently, disabling the ammo bunkers prevents planes from having bombs and rockets, but doesn't effect bullets or GV cannon rounds. My wish is to set it up on a percentage basis similar to the field fuel system. Like the fuel system, the minimum MG/Cannon loadout would be 25% of normal.
Example: Medium Airfield (4 bunkers total) -
0 bunkers destroyed > 100% MG and Cannon rounds available; all bombs and rockets available.
1 bunker destroyed > 75% MG and Cannon rounds available; all bombs and rockets available.
2 bunkers destroyed > 50% MG and Cannon rounds available; all bombs and rockets available.
3 bunkers destroyed > 25% MG and Cannon rounds available; all rounds and rockets available.
4 bunkers destroyed > 25% MG and Cannon rounds available; no bombs or rockets available.
What do y'all think? I can see this possibly making it too hard to defend a base and a pain for players who need all the ammo they can carry (like me).

it's been discussed to death before. if you want to stop planes from upping, then drop the hangars. ammo bunkers only affect bombs and rockets, as per the ht guy himself.

I've suggested something similar previously. With only 2 ammo bunkers on small airfields, you must suggest something that can be dealt with with 2 ord bunkers.
I suggested, iirc, that with 1 ord bunker down the 1k ord and larger be not available (including torps). With both bunkers being down meaning no ordnance is available. Another idea is to always allow the small bombs to always be available. The 50kg/100lb up to 100kg/250lb. They are used very rarely anyways and are not very effective against gv's (direct hits needed vs armor).
The fuel depot system is perfect. I like the tiered system and it makes perfect sense. I hope HTC can implement some type of system that is similar for ordnance and barracks.

It would give some sense of reality but I think in a game where people are trying to shoot eachother, removing the only tool used would be senseless and would only continue this downward trend we are on, in terms of people playing.

what problem does this solve? :headscratch:

Then why would you want to wish it? :headscratch:

Depending on perspective, theres pros and cons to just about everyting. I'm just putting forth what may become a problem.

Doesn't solve a problem that I know of. I just suggested this idea as a way to bring some more importance to ammo bunkers. After all, you'd think amount of machine gun and cannon rounds available for aircraft and GV's would be just as effected as bombs and rockets if the ammo bunkers were down.
