Title: GRAPHICS CARD...LAST TIME

It's been suggested i post what components my computer has for suggestions on Video cards.Here's what i "remember"

Window XP Pro 64 bit
2 Gbs of RAM
750 watt PSU
Pentium 4 duo core (?)

What can i install to "WOW" me? was running  8800 GTX.
I don't want to dump $175 on a video card that'll give me the same grafix i had with the 8800. IF my only option is to upgrade the OS , so be it, but I'd rather not.

The card you said you had chosen would be fine and outside of that another 2GB of memory would help.

i believe i run DirectX9 , nw card is  DirectX 11,   an issue?

No, you just won't be able to use DX11 features without Vista/Win7. It's not part of XP (otherwise nobody would ever have a reason to upgrade from XP, they hold it back that way)
