For what?

If you want to scout around, up a JUG 100% and 3 drops. You could fly around the map all night with this load out!

Lets not even talk about how far you can go in a lanc at 100% :huh
Both of which carry good ord allowance

It should be able to spot for GV's, CV's and submarines. I think it should be added for the :cool: of landing on the water.

Regardless, this plane should have been in AH LONG BEFORE the 29.

Post by: Squire on February 19, 2011, 10:45:10 AM: Because on the of the most important missions that WW2 aircraft flew were reconaissance missions many of which were flown over hundreds of miles of ocean. Long range maritime aircraft were critical. That being said in the "world" of the Main Arena a/c like that are not really needed as you can just roll a fighter often to scout a Task Group or overfly GVs to spot them.

As for th PBY in AH I would like to see it because it would be used in Special Events setups. Thankfully HTC does not just provide 1945 fighter planes in the game. :aok

Let the B29 rest all ready, sheesh. Believe it or not the community wanted the B29 before the PBY. Historical importance has no say in the plane selection anymore, it is all politics and business when it comes to this game.
