Title: Battle Over Germany tonight! Calling all 109, 190 and 110 drivers
Post by: mthrockmor on February 19, 2011, 03:09:28 PM
Calling all Luftwaffe pilots!!

High Command has learned that tonight the Allied, Americaner forces are sending fat, buffs with escorts to hit Berlin. We are tasked with ensuring this does not happen. We are happy to report an Axis victory last week, though it was close. We anticipate over 300+ fat, Allied Americaner planes to attempt the unspeakable. We have over 150 trained Bf-190G6 and FW-190A8 pilots, with a handful of specialized Bf-110Gs to stop them. To make certain we are successful, again, we are recruiting a few more pilots.

If you enjoy killing fat Americaner airplanes, flying the 109s or 190s, even the 110, or would like to learn top notch squad tactics....please sign up. We have 15-20 slots left over, first come first serve.

I am handling all Walkons and with enough notice I can get help you get the bird of your choice, though you had better have some real skills if you think to kill buffs in the 110G. You can send me a PM, respond to this post or simply show up.

Make sure to be to the SEA II, arena no later then 9 PM Eastern tonight.

Those arrogant Americaners with their big cammed women, we will show them!

Warmest,
Boo
Executive Officer
Axis Forces
Loose Deuce
III Gruppe/ JG 54

PS We started an aluminium scrap drive last week, spectacular results!

The German formations looked very Historical
but
about 20 B17 formation and about 30 p47 escorts
I saw the B17s exactly 5 seconds than I had 4 P47s on my 6 ,2 over me and 3 where Climbing up to me the P47 bullets overshot me and killed a B17 and I lost a wing.
Realy to much escort.

Can I get a G-14? I'd be very interested in logging in tonight for this since I planned on doing much the same in the MA tonight anyway.

Actually PJ the next Frame is this Saturday.  Not sure what the plane line-up for the Axis is, but walk-ons are always welcome!

See you up there,

And I am the walkon officer for the Axis. If you ask nicely I can hook you up with a G-14 no problem. If not, back seat of a 110...just say'n.  :x

On a serious note, we would love to have you. Several models to choose from with a few gruppes, including my beloved III/54 flying the G-14. Your choice of 20mm or 30mm package. Just log-in around 9PM Eastern so we can get you lined up with a good gruppe.

Welcome to the Luftwaffe!

vink, It's Saturday Night. I'm going with a nice 20mil package - I'm hoping with the added punch of a pair of gondos. It's all I fly pretty much, these days. It's not a good thing to get caught low and slow with but das ist nicht der plan, if you follow.  Anyway, It'd be kewl if we end up in the same gruppe.

K-KEN, I don't mean to cause you embarassment, but were you so scare being that close to the B24 tail gunner that in the 3rd pic you appear to have crawled all the way down into the floorboards of that 190??

You can't imagine how I can fit this upper body in a 2 foot square area under the inst panel!  You bet I was skeered!!!   :pray

That plane was a fireball in just an instant.  It started with this pass.....

Soon, there were more hits...

That was a blast, Boo. Thanks. 4Breakfast, me, OzRocker, and Ping were the last 4. Breakfast had a great night, with 6 kills - and showed some fine tactical leadership. I only got 2.5 but lived to tell the tale - though I had to dead stick land at A5 after killing a 24 and shooting up another one (no joy on that second one, guess he got home). Later, the four of us caught a group of 38Js down low and gave 'em the bidness end of the bidness. I managed to cut St(r?)okes in half with a 30 and he smashed real purty - but only after a tiring  and quality pursuit. Later, we encountered some remaining escorts around A23(?) and that was when ping and ozzy bought it. Ping got pinged in the engine by a 38J. I tried to get it off him but a buddy of his showed up in a B-Pony and was on me for a while. I think Oz and 4Breakfast killed the 38 but Ping was deadstick. Ozzy later bought it in the same action - not sure how. 4B and i tried to run down some fleeing allies but no dice...

All in all, a great blast of an action. thanks. Loose deuce is a fine squad and a great bunch of guys to fly with.

Yea PJ, that was a fun fight. We any a wingman were headed back to A69 to see if we could pick a few kills up, but when I looked back he was spiraling down in flame. After a few expletives on vox, I started to try and hold you four off. A squady that had recently gone RTB turned around to try and help me, it was 2v4 for a few minutes there, but I was full of gas and couldn't get you to stall out and ya' popped me with a tater.

Looking forward to more fights like that in the future! <S>

Absolute blast last night, guys. For the first time ever I survived the fram without being shot down, and got 2 kills, a B Pony and a Jug. Never saw a bomber, but we found the escorts! I'm not a great 109 driver by any stretch of the imagination, but the G14 was working last night! Just wish we could have been closer to the action, by the time I went lone wolf and headed up to A69 with only 20 min or so to go in the frame, all the friendlies were on the ground and there was a full dar bar of P-38s and B Ponies! At least I can say I have perfected the art of the "oil hit, radiator hit forced landing wheels up with 5 guys trying to vulch me" !

I'll have to see if I can post some screenies....

When will the event logs be posted?

Go to Aces High home page. Go under community tap, look for special events. Once there along the top you will see logs. Look under 'scenario' BOG. Glad you had fun. See you next week!

I thought the handle in the log looked familiar. I've been doing this for coming up on 2 years now. I make no claims beyond having graduated from Baby Seal status - at least most of the time. Even so, I know enough that when I acquired your six during that fight, two things were immediately clear:
1. I needed to kill you, because if I didn't, you were going to kill me. I've seen 38 jockeys try that sort of "half-piping" with flat scissor before. Killers, not Baby Seals, do that.   Indeed, I kllled Duck in the MA yesterday after such a series and an arduous battle. He had almost worked a firing angle out of it before I pulled off and went high. The end didn't come 'til later.
2. I was glad we had 4 on 2 because it let me focus without having to check my own six much. File that one under "unfair advantage" - which I'll take, but not with delusions.

Anyway, you surprised me at the end when you pulled vertical and I had just enough smash to point up. Them was good fightins'. I'll be back next week.

Saved by Our Lady of Bottomless War Emergency Power and the 109's strong climb performance....
