It sounds very familiar... Can I throw in a guess that it was the background song for the T.V. commercial a few years back on the history channel? That commercial was actually brought me to this horrible and entertaining addiction.

Is there a way to change the song? If it is in our folders there has to be a way to replace it.

First thing I thought of when I heard it was "Thunderbirds are Go"  from that show when I was a kid.  Didn't know the Tracy family flew AH :)

No luck so far.  I found reference to title music in the advanced options for game sounds.  I named the file tmusic as it says in the list but still doesn't work.

Must be an 8 or 16-bit 22KHz .wav named tmusic.wav.  Actually, the volume slider for it has been in the game for years.  Been waitin' for them to finally put it in. :rock

Okay, thanks USRanger, but I need further assistance.  I have a 2.5 mb 16 bit 22.050 Hz file and named it tmusic.wav located inside of the Aces High/sound ..... folder.  The default title music still plays.

What am I doing wrong please?  Anyone?

But still getting the default music here.  :uhoh  I converted my wav file into the desertrt.mp3 and checked to see if it is working.  I then put it in my AcesHigh/Sound ..... folder, also a copy in the AcesHigh/.... folder.   Any suggestions?

I was just wondering if it would be possible to submit a fan made intro song for the main page (that we make ourselve!) a bit the same way the background picture is? Next week I almost got nothing to do and could spend some time on a fully orchestrated AH theme. Would this be a good idea?

JT,

You can turn it down to 0 in the game sound tab.  I think it is the top option ..... MUSIC.

I think that it is an awesome addition, but still unable to get my Red Hot Chili Peppers singing Aeroplane uploaded in the right place yet.  I have it clipped to a 20 second mp3, is there a size limit that I might be missing?

I have that as my base warning sound. ;)  I'll see if I can get it working as the title music (haven't messed with it yet) and then get it to you.
