If you live in area code 719 (Colorado Springs) you will love flying with us. We regularly meet before missions (Thursday nights) and we often make 2 to 12 person conference calls using our second phone lines as an in flight radio (audio 6-calls can't be beat! Newbies are welcome, (they usually fly better than me in about 1 week). To find us just click on the roster button and look for any Buccaneer, then send us/him a message on chanel 1.

Any Squadrons interested in doing joint or opposing missions let us know! We thrive on re-enacting historic WWII missions.

The Buccaneers enjoy re-enacting actual WWII missions, where possible. You can get a feel for the type of squad flying and missions we do by visiting our Squadron Home Page.
http://members.efortress.com/warbird (http://members.efortress.com/warbird)
There you can see mission plans we've done and in some cases the results, in our Wardiary, along with and occasional guncamera pic.
You can see pictures of most of the current Buccaneers, (but be careful, looking at Eskimo will turn you to stone....:-) ).
Enjoy,
P.S. Our Squad page is optimized for
1024X768 resolution.

Eskimo,
The majority of our squad members are from C-Springs in CO. Most of us work for either the Fire or Police Department....look forward to seeing your squadies online :-)
Good luck and good hunting !!!!

RAS,
WOW!
Another Squad in Colorado Springs!
We definitely need to do joint missions or even combine forces!
The Buccaneers are 18 strong, how many members are in No. 54 SQ? Do any of your guys have second phone lines? Rodger Wilco?
We are meeting at Denny's at 4799 North Acadamy this Tuesday (1-11-00) at 5:00 (our phone coms start at 7:50 and the mission will start at 8:00). We will also be meeting there on the 25th. Tell your squadmates to feel free to drop by, we would love to meet you. Just look for a bunch of ugly guys in the back making airplane noises.
We have a lot of fun at these meetings and you will meet some interesting guys. Our CO owns and flies a few real WWII warbirds, our training officer is a retired fighter pilot (several others are also military or retired military), a few others are real pilots and have quite a bit of time in WWII planes (and 1 is even a helicopter pilot (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) ). A bunch of us also own authentic Army Air Corps uniforms and flight gear that we wear to airshows and sometimes Denny's.
We also have a connection to fire and police as I am a volunteer fire fighter in Woodland Park and Wabbit is a criminal (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif).
You can E-mail me at;
dnjhall@earthlink.net
Also make sure to check out our website, (look above at Wabbit's posting).

Hey Ras, I got a question for your squad-mates, who are members of the police force.
Can I claim tempory insanity, due to extreme harassment, if I bring a belt fed 50cal to the meeting and shoot Eskimo 400 times. Do I have to act irrational and scream alot while I do this? Should I bring two belts and reload. Will that help my insanity plea?
I want to do this the correct way - any help would be appreciated. :-) :-) :-) :-)
wabbit
O.K., a Bum maybe, Lowlife definitly, foul mouthed and highly opininated - Yes!, but a crimminal. Now wait a dog-goned minute here...
A Crimminal is somone who wears Plaid pants with Hawain shirts.... Now that's a criminal!!!
P.S.S. That picture at the Post Office is not me!!! I swear....

Hey Wabbit!
Your squad nite is tonite right? So is ours (33rd Strike Group). Was thinking about a bit of an "alliance" tonite....
Although the riks and the bish's have been through tough times where the other two countries have ganged up on them, I dont think the Knits have ever really had to put up with a two sided war of the magnitude that our two countries have. What'dya say our squads focus on the Knits tonite now that they have numbers similar to our countries (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
I think we just need to let them know that they are no longer to be termed the "swing" country (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Dingy,
Our squad night is tomorrow night, 01/11.

Sorry Dingy,
The Buccaneers have officially moved to the Knights. If I did that I'd be arrested as a traitor. As it is, I'm apparently already facing a war crimes tribunal, or at least I will be after I deal with a back-stabbing lowlife in my squad (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
See ya in the skies, (hopefully from your Six! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

hehehe Wabbit......good news, our police department member is not a sworn patrol officer, so won't be making any arrests if he shows to the meeting of the Buccaneers :-)
As for the "advice" on how to smoke lots of people quickly in confined spaces, should probably consult someone from the U.S. Postal Service. They deal with these issues more often the the CSPD ;-)

I heard something about belt fed 50 cals and wabbit. No good can come of this (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
By the way RAS, wabbit shoots friendlies in the back on takeoff roll (thank god for kill shooter!)

Look forward to meeting the Buccaneers in person someday soon. If I can just get a day off :-) Working day 6 (10 hour shifts) of an 8 day stint, will check out your web page to see when the next "briefing" is :-)

I think that we may be changing our squad night to Wednesdays. Check our website.

Well, dad blam-it. RAS, you're right. I've got it made. My dad's a retired postal worker :-) I've decided to use a Base ball bat. That way the libers can spend all their time and money trying to register and outlaw baseball bats...
Looks like I'll have to put an update spot on the home page. I want to use the same method as was used in the movie 12O'clock high. Ya know, the English Mug that gets turned around on the mantel of the club.
For now just check the mission board. If you see a "new" mission listed, it will have the briefing time/date/location in it.
P.S. Don't bend over infront of Jarbo. It'll be over so quick, you won't have time to scream.... :-)

Doesquis,
We would love to meet you and have you fly a mission with us. Unfortunatly I am not sure what we are doing tomorrow... heard we may be going to Musashi (a local Japanese resturant) and then do a zero mission... but I am not sure. Post your E-mail, or even better look for any Buccaneer online and give them your E-mail. We will send you squadron briefings and meeting locations etc.
Looking forward to meeting you.
