really dumb question but did u unzip it?
and whoes sound pack is if its TBs you need a RAR file
-
yep unzipped it amd extracted it to a new file named sounds, and it wad rangers soundpack
-
Did you unzip it "using folder info" (or whatever) so each plane/vehicle has its own folder inside your ah2/sounds folder? My Rangerpack sounds work just fine.
-
yes i did in the folder sounds folder HTC it has a folder labled sounds inside that sounds then each plane and such with own folder
-
Move the 'sounds' folder that is on the inside of your 'sounds' folder, and
put it into the HTC folder. Delete the now empty 'sounds' folder while leaving
the 'sounds' folder that has all the plane names in it.
Does this make sense? I fear I may have worded it in a confusing manner.
-
i understand it but thats not how it is , there is only 1 file of sounds wen i click the HTCsounds file then another 1 that says sounds click that sounds again, click that then all the planes r there. Ill play with it some. Also what does the token file do? Do i need that?
-
I'm unsure what a 'token' file is, may be best to leave it for now.
I'll make a picture guide here, check back shortly.

Based off of what you're saying (it's a little hard without the grammar and such),
it seems like you have a 'sounds' folder within another 'sounds' folder. There should
only be one sounds folder.

After opening that particular sounds folder, located in your Aces High folder,
you should see something that looks like the image below.

ok i got it thanks, what is the best soundpack there is for 17s?
-
It's all a matter of opinion. I currently use Twinboom's, but
in the past I've tried Ranger's and Fruda's, both are very good.
Mitsu's is very old and therefore out of date, but you may
find some sounds you like in there.
If you're feeling like you have some free time to play around
with folders and sounds, you can take your favorite sounds
from each soundpack and put them all into the game.
As an example, you could have Ranger's B-17 and B-24 sounds,
but maybe you like Twinboom's P-38s and P-51s - so you use
them instead of the ones Ranger has in his pack.
Experiment with all the different sounds available to you, and
see what you like best. Remember, have fun with it!
