What you should be doing is just say "Thank You Hitech for listening to our request" and move on and get in the plane that you so voted for and enjoy it for what it is.
They surely didn't put any thought into the day they clicked the vote button and surely should have known it was going to be perked heavily, why is it such a big deal now?
If you don't have the perks to fly it yet, start bombing stuff and actually landing so you get your perk points built up instead of bombing and bailing like you do now, noe suicide lancstukas on town or over fields just does not pay off does it? You can forget about using it to sacrifice yourself for the sake of taking town down without it costing you something, um like perks.
Stop with the whining and fly it, after all its what you wanted. Be thankful that so many of you like minded bomber wanna bee's got what you wanted, now afford the rest of us the opportunity to shoot you down in flames........ :devil

Can't please everyone, don't even try. Knowing this, it matters not to the HiTech group......they still keep trying, and to that I salute their continued efforts. Yall do a hell of a job :salute

Yes, next plane voted for should be done next.

I agree they got what they wanted. In fact they seemed to get it pretty quick. Now lets get some of the other planes that will fill in the ranks of the axis and soviet planes so we can build on scenario's, FSO's, Snap Shots and other events so they can be more accurate. Oh and lets have the B-29's flying the low level fire bombing missions with stripped buffs. Bet that would be fun.

LOL. Perhaps with the next vote folks could do a little research on the plane they vote for BEFORE they vote.
Don't get me wrong, I like the B-29, and voted for it. BUT, they are NOT a low level bomber. The engines are renown for fire, lack of stressing ability. Known for their vulnerability at low alt's.
As usual, want, want, want..........yet no idea what being gotten.
B-29 is a great AC, have no doubt. However, it only becomes great at 26 - 30K. 20 to 30K, semi-OK. Lower, you're dead, along with your perks. Go to 30K, be prepared to spend not only your perks, but 45 minutes of your time too.

I actually think many are missing something. AH does not have engine fires. It has fuel fires. That has been no indication from HTC in the update notes that the modeling of AH has changed and that the engines in planes can now catch fire.
So I'll wait for the patches and see if HTC decideds that there is an issue or not. If they say there is no issue with the hardness of the self sealing fuel tank areas, then so be it.

You know, I was wondering this same thing. I had been under the impression that there were no engine fires, but since everyone stated that the engines caught on fire so adamantly, I figured I had just missed something... lol

I think everyone sees the B-29 catching fire and instantly thinks that is the engine. The 29s engine issues were due to cooling issues and the use of Mg. Everyone seems to have hysteria over engine problems, if you try it in offline, shoot at the wing (avoid hitting the engine) and you will get the same results.
