...flying a B29 to 20k only to see the message "Host Connection Lost" pop-up and realize that your internet just had a hiccup for the first time in months. :furious
It's funny, I'm actually afraid to fly the B29 now, not because of being shot down but because I might BSOD or Disco and lose everything. That stings me a lot more than my B29's imitating a Betty.

Glad you fessed up first Beefcake. I thought I was doing right on Tuesday by flying the B29 offline for a bit, and then logging into the TT arena and uping a formation. Went well for the first 60 minutes, got her up to 30k and was cruising around getting ready to decide on a target when my computer decided to freeze... Not sure, haven't checked, but that's probabley the better part of 300 perkies down the toilet. I had a P47 trailing behind me at ~3.0k too trying to chase me down, it was just about to get good.

Yeah, I understand and agree with why the system does what it does, but it's still really painful when you lose all those perks through no fault of your own or enemy action.

:uhoh

Well when the update was released I had 3080 buff perks, now I have about 2970. :D To be honest I don't fly that much and when I do it's usually dogfighting in bombers, which means I die a lot without earning any perks. I guess it's one of those "hording" issues where I don't want to lose any perks even though I rarely fly the Ar234 or the Mossie B. Another reason is because I generally fly pretty "loose", I like taking risks & having fun even if it means getting killed a lot, so having to tighten up and fly...well...pretty timidly in the B29 is somewhat unnatural to me. ;)

I very rarely fly perked planes for that reason and many others. Already lost over 200 in the b29. Sure was fun. Now I'm on resupply duty! :lol

I was very distraught to discover that I had only a few thousand bomber perks despite years of P-38 flying.

It happens man, just next time don't forget to select the "Bomber" category when you select your P-38 from the hangar.
